This vulnerability could allow remote code execution if a user opens a specially crafted Office document with an affected version of Microsoft Office software or previews or opens a specially crafted email message in Outlook with Microsoft Word such as e-mail reader. Similarly, the 15.19.1 updates for Office 2016 are included in that bundle, but those of us who have the purchased license never saw the 15.9.0 updates. It had been 14.6.0 or 14.6.1 & now will notify accordingly. As I wrote, though, running MAU manually would fetch the most recent available update, whether According to release notes, it's a trivial interim security update that has no bearing on functionality of anything but Outlook.
